"Be informed about your Environment!"

Nuclear power is not clean, safe, efficient or plausible for our future.

All Nuclear Power Plants are built near or on major water ways in order to function. The local water is pumped through the Power Plant to cool the nuclear reactors, then dumped back into the original waterway. There has been evidence of water contamination affecting drinking water, fish, and all life connected to those waterways. Water is becoming more scarce as the rivers and lakes continue to dry up making Nuclear Power Plants an impossible concept.

Besides using water, all Nuclear Power plants burn and use some percentage of oil and or coal to ignite the nuclear reactors for energy. As we all know, burning oil and coal is not clean or safe, and are "non-renuable" resources.

Nuclear power plants are threats to our national security as well, since they are obvious targets of disaster. Are you willing to risk your saftey when there are safer, better alternatives? Nuclear Power plants are not economically efficient. The cost to build a nuclear power plant is millions of dollars, and doubles the multi-million dollar cost to tear it down which is scheduled to happen every 30-50 years. When Nuclear power plants are no longer usuable and "torn" down, no one knows what to do with the millions of gallons of toxic nuclear waste that we have created using nuclear power plants!

Who wants radio active nuclear waste in their backyard? most people would prefer a simple, clean, safe, and efficient wind turbine!  Or how about building your own individual electric windmill like some homes used to have a hundred years ago?

An electric windmill only about the size of a regular farm water pump windmill can supply enough electricity for at least three homes!

People should also be working on improving solar power. What about developing lazers that capture the Sun's energy directly to run electric generators? It is also possible to make non-electric dehumidifiers to collect water instead of over using our rivers and aquafers.
